NC Engagement Session // Emma and Ryan

We’re less than two weeks away now from Ryan and Emma’s wedding day. So in celebration, I’m sharing some of my favorites from their engagement session. We ventured out to the cabin of a dear family friend and spent the afternoon talking, laughing and appreciating the stillness of the surrounding beauty.

Our session was special not only because they’re dear friends of mine, but the laid back nature gave me more room to be intentional in the way I photographed.  This resulted in images that felt true to who Ryan and Emma are, both as a couple and as individuals and true to who I want to be as an artist.
